Since the introduction of
our in house live Internet video sales in 2007 we have seen increased
interest and growth in this method of sale. Our affiliation with CattleUSA.com helps us provide our customers with a very
cost effective method of generating the highest return on your cattle
sales. Our Internet sales operate very similar to the traditional video
sales. Most are accustomed to how those sales are handled from filming to
delivery. The exception is we broadcast exclusively over the Internet
right from our sale arena. Your cattle are exposed to buyers worldwide as
well as to those buyers sitting in our arena. All the details of your
consignment are handled exclusively by Buffalo Livestock Auction personnel
from filming the cattle, getting all the contract details, editing the
film and publishing all the information on the Internet, sale day events, and
delivery. We can have a consignment posted for viewing within a few hours
after the videos and contracts have been prepared. The contracts, sale,
delivery and payment are all handled by Buffalo Livestock Auction. There
is no computer experience needed by a seller and you do not even need to
own one.
With over 135,000
registered viewers on CattleUSA.com your cattle are exposed to a very
large and growing buying audience. All prospective buyers must be
registered with Buffalo Livestock Auction to bid and purchase cattle on
the Internet. We thoroughly check out a prospective buyer's ability to
pay for their purchases before they are allowed to become registered
buyers through our sales, whether they are purchasing through the sale
ring or over the Internet. Payment for your cattle is made directly from
us so you know your check is good. We are one of the early pioneers in
marketing livestock on the Internet and have successfully been marketing
several thousand head every year since 2000. Tremendous advancements in
technology and speed have made real time audio and video across the
Internet barely discernible from real time. Buyers are beginning to
prefer this manner of marketing to the old style video methods. Our
Internet sales are large enough to attract multiple buyers for each lot,
yet small enough to provide you the individual attention your consignments
deserve.
Our buyer base
includes some of the largest livestock buying firms in the country and
they all embrace this unique marketing tool. We have planned several
Internet sales for early and late summer and would like to include you in
one of these nationally advertised events.
Our commission
structure is very affordable and less expensive than the Video auctions.
Make no mistake, we truly believe in the auction method, whether it is
live through the sale ring or over the Internet. Our goal is to
market livestock to achieve the highest return for our customers.
Both methods have advantages and disadvantages each distinguishable from
the other. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss this great
marketing tool.
We will be posting
Internet sale dates soon on our web site. Please read the post
titled "The power of the Auction, is it worth the
commission?".
